"The location is superior, the gate is just 1 minute from the seaside square to the seaside, the price is cheap, and the price/performance ratio is consistent. We stayed for one night on the way back to Sydney from Bucun. We booked a triple room with indoor bathroom at RMB 779. The indoor facilities are outdated like domestic guest houses 20 years ago. The room is on the second floor, and there is a club on the first floor. We checked in on a Saturday, and basically couldn't sleep before midnight. Others are pretty good, and the service attitude is good."

"Great Stay with Beautiful River Views I recently stayed at Rydges Port Macquarie and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect—right on the waterfront, with stunning views of the Hastings River and easy access to restaurants, shops, and the beach. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a private balcony to enjoy the scenery. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. The hotel’s pool and outdoor area were great for relaxing, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals, especially the breakfast. Parking was convenient, although it comes at an extra cost. Overall, Rydges Port Macquarie is an excellent choice for a comfortable and scenic stay in the heart of town. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"The Sea Breeze Cottage is independent of the campsite, without any access control, and is relatively old. For a room rate of 1500+, it can only be considered as a one-night stay. You should have a psychological expectation when booking a room. The location is really good, close to the graffiti rock."

"It was a fantastic stay. Service, cleanliness, location and amenities..chefs kiss. The buffet was the best part of the morning, and the food served was delicious. Props to the chefs and workers. The chefs made such various indulgent food choices and the workers would help take the dirty dishes away. The shopping centres were located near the mall, making it easier to buy goods. The location was obviously the best part. The sea to look at from your hotel room (if you had the seaside/poolside view) was breathtaking. I know for sure you would enjoy Sails Hotel, 10/10 stay and experience. Me and my family are definitely going there again."

"Loved the apartment, the location was just amazing. We were checking out early the next day and wished we had more time to spend in the apartment and the surrounding beaches. A little inconvenient if you are staying in the apartments as there was no lift and we had to climb 3 flight of stairs to get to our room with no help and a baby 😭"

"Floor felt sandy like it had not been vacuumed/swept throughly after the last guests. The dishrack was rusty so we didn't want to use it. The non-stick pot provided to cook was clearly scratched, which means it becomes toxic to use. The green scourer provided to wash the dishes with was quite hard to use and can also be abrasive and scratch the non-stick coating on pots and pans. Other than those minor things, the standard cabin was spacious and the triple bunk bed seems fun if you have kids."

"For the price all good but the check in was weird , some people got email or text to tell them where and how there key and room can be found but we didn't, so had to hunt the manager down to get into our room. Once we got in had to hunt down the manager again to ask for a couple of drinking glasses and given 2 two small odd glasses that could have been Vegemite jars. but on the whole good for price."

"The overall check-in experience is very satisfactory, parking is extremely convenient, the room is clean and tidy, and the sound insulation effect is very good! If you come to Port Macquarie, I would definitely recommend this motel."
